Welcome

My Mission: Build. Lead. Inspire.

Hi and welcome to the website for all things Kevin Shaw!

I’m an entrepreneur, broadcast media professional, digital accessibility specialist and musician from Toronto, Canada.

In 1998, I lost my sight due to a rare form of retinopathy. Despite the challenges that came with my sight loss, I earned both undergraduate and graduate degrees in media from Toronto Metropolitan University.

I’ve worked as a mobile DJ, music producer, radio producer, tech startup founder, program manager, digital accessibility consultant and TV host. I also play the drums.

This website brings all of my experiences into one place. As you browse through these pages, you’ll find stories of how I’ve overcome obstacles, insights on media accessibility, tech, business, and other things I find interesting. I believe there is always something to learn from every experience, and I hope these pages inspires you to chase your dreams, no matter what challenges you may face.

If you’d like to connect with me, feel free to follow me on Twitter . And if you’re curious to see me in action, click here to watch Mind Your Own Business on the AMI TV website.

Thanks for visiting! Check back often for updates and new content!
